Mark’s POV
I was a little concerned at first. Amanda had been in denial about the pregnancy at first, and then once she could get her mind wrapped around the idea that it really was happening, she seemed to be resigned to it after the initial shock wore off, although she confided that the timing was earlier than she might have liked. She really had hoped to wait another 4-6 months before trying to get pregnant.
“I guess I’ll just have to work as fast as I can on the Wandering Minstrel books, and hopefully just have editing left to do once junior gets here,” Amanda had said to me ruefully that same evening of the day she found out she was pregnant. “I genuinely like to finish the things I start before I begin a new project. And motherhood is the biggest project of all!”
