Mark’s POV
It’s hard not to be jealous of Nolan. He’s bragging about how him and his wife are expecting a baby in February. I want to brag about my own similar news as well, and have everyone congratulate me and slap me on the back, just like him. But nope. Amanda wants to wait until it’s confirmed by a doctor first. Which is understandable, even if I’m eager to announce my happiness to the world.
Poker night was fun, even though I didn’t win. It was one of those nights where I was there to give my friends money, and enjoy the beer, the snacks, and the camaraderie. Nolan made a few bucks. Tim ended up being the big winner tonight. Robert and Derrick are also going home with their wallets a bit thinner.
