Amanda’s POV “I’m really loving the title of this book,” my editor Anne is telling me over the phone. “Honu and Nene, the perfect names for a Hawaiian turtle and bird!” “I’m glad that you like it!” I tell her, relieved, as it hadn’t been at all easy to come up with. Originally I was going to call the turtle Trevor and the bird was named Wanda, but it had never seemed quite right.
