7 - Without a Shadow

I wandered without a shadow. Everywhere I used to go, if I was allowed to leave, I was followed by a few warriors. Eventually, that changed to a group of Omegas and then just one. They let me wander alone now due to a combination of years of the persona I carefully built and their complacency. But still, I rarely ventured out. I did not want to give them a need to worry or question. They should have been worried, even if they thought the threat followed the visitors here; there was obviously a breach in security. I wandered seemingly aimlessly around the place until I reached the edge of the forest and slipped between the trees.
