When Roberta mind-linked me that the brother was here, I panicked, calling for warriors urgently to meet me at the training grounds, and of course, I had to include Ashley. If he had not been told his sister could be in danger, he would not have let me forget it for ages. I had not felt any fear from her, Roberta was calm and that confused me. I thought she was blocking her feelings and sending only good ones, so I wouldn’t worry. It did not work if that was the case, it made me only worry more.
We rushed towards the clearing and I slowed to a quick walk as I approached the treeline, when I broke through the trees, I saw my mate holding the guy by the throat as if he weighed nothing at all. Believe it or not, that made me get hard, and I growled at myself for having that happen,
