Meeting up at the training ground was not a bad place to meet. Most members knew where it was. I headed there now, and as I got closer, I smelled him first. I was shocked to know he would be here, and when I could see Drew, he was dressed to join us on the run. I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was. Maybe it was because I did not think an alpha would do a perimeter run. Our old alpha ran the perimeter maybe once a month, if that, only when he felt he needed to respray his scent around.
