MORGAN STOOD WATCHING the surfers at the water’s edge and gave an involuntary shudder. Another group raced out to catch the next wave as they practiced for the competition that would happen in Sebastian the following week.
"Jeez, that water has to be freezing. How can they go out there in the surf?" Morgan groaned out loud, her friends laughing at her expression.
"Seriously, Morgan, they don"t feel it that much when they"re in their wetsuits,” Kathy answered. “And believe it or not, you use a lot of energy when you"re out there surfing, so your body stays kinda warm on its own."
