BY THE TIME CAPTAIN Rose had the ferry secured and all the passengers had disembarked, Nate and the others were walking down the pier toward them. Giving a wave to her crew, Captain Rose dismissed them for the evening and turned her attention to the uniformed officer waiting to speak to her.
"Good evening, Zack. Is this an official visit, or a friendly one?"
"My visits with you are always friendly, Captain Rose. However, I have some official business that we need to go over. I"ve asked the others to join me, so I only have to say it once."
"In that case, you"re all welcome to come aboard,” Rosa said. “We can go to the observation room. There are plenty of chairs in there for all of us."
