CHAPTER 11

“Because at night, it’s my turn to be the teacher.” Those words kept lingering in her ears and did something to her inner core. He trained his gaze wholly on her, looking at her like she was the only woman on earth right now. For a long while, Zary could not even say a thing. It was very rare for anyone to make her speechless, yet here she was, rendered mute for quite a few times already by a certain… sizzling hot… robot. She did not know which was the stronger speech killer, his eyes or his mouth. His words were certainly fire but for some reason she had yet to figure out, Zary felt like there was something in the way that he looked at her. Something in the way he stared made her feel like… “You can tell me, Zary…” he broke the silence, but the texture of his voice prevented her from breaking out of this trance that she kept being trapped in. “You can tell me your fantasies… all of them.” His voice now a whisper, like heavy velvet silk sliding down her tingling skin. “Tell me and I will make them all a reality. I promise.” Zary swallowed. Hard. Sparks jolting through her now. Her… fantasies? “My… fantasies…” she finally managed to speak. She had never quite dwelled on her fantasies all these while all because of the issue that she had with her paranoia with men. So no matter how she had fantasised, there was nothing that would come out of it. However, now that Sam had asked her, she could not help but wonder a little more about it. He nodded encouragingly. His eyes gleaming as if thousands of jewels were trapped within those irises. A weak laugh was forced out and echoed around them as Zary tried to ease this impossible tension that had built up between them. The intensity felt a bit too much for her. Or was it always like this and she was the only one who think this was too much because this was the first time ever that she was experiencing this? But even if that explains this, Zary still find it a little unbelievable. How could a robot make her feel all these without him even touching her? She cleared her throat a couple of times. “I think we should eat first. I will think about… umm… these… later.” That was the best excuse she could come up with. This bewitching seducer was someone she could not possibly handle right now. She was absolutely unprepared for this – both mentally and physically – and it was freaking her out quite a bit! Maybe because she felt that the moment she gives in… this seducer would bring her to an uncharted territory she had never set her foot in before. A territory that might not have any exit or… a place that she might end up unable to step away from at all. Somehow, she had a feeling her guts would prove her right and both excitement and a little fear rushed in her veins. These looming uncertainties and unchartered waters scared her like nothing else ever had, but she also wanted to look further into it and... try it. Cause why not? She had already decided she would adopt a ‘come what may’ attitude. However, she still needed to prepare herself at least. Maybe a night should be enough? “Take your time, babe.” he replied. “And don’t worry because I won’t do anything yet. Not tonight. But tomorrow, we can start teaching each other… when you’re ready.” His voice held a wealth of unspoken promises that sent shivers over her skin. The moment she nodded, Sam lifted her, spun around with her tucked close to his n***d torso, before lowering her to sit on the chair. “Give me a moment,” he said then went back to the stove. Zary watched him closely until he finished preparing everything and finally sat down across from her. He did not eat. Of course. Zary did not bother to ask since she had already read it in the manual that he does not need to consume any food. He served her, slicing meat and fruits for her while looking at her eat. Pouring water into her glass when it was empty and so on. Zary had the urge to stop him, but she held back. It would be a bit awkward if he just sat there staring at her without doing anything while she eats. That would be even worse for her. That was one of the rare moments Zary had allowed herself to eat as much as she could handle. The food was delicious and the man across her was just as delicious to the eyes so she could not help but eat much more than usual. … After dinner, Zarina spent an hour scribbling furiously on her notebook, planning out what she had wanted to do with Sam tomorrow. She had sworn she would not waste any more time being wishy washy, so she had decided to make a bucket list. For half an hour, her focus on the list was unbreakable. She looked like she was working on a billion-dollar deal while Sam was reading on some more cooking manuals he had found in the kitchen. Another thirty minutes passed by when Zarina nodded a few times as if satisfied at what she had written out so far. “Alright, it’s time for…” she trailed off as her gaze immediately locked into Sam’s the moment she had glanced his way. She blinked. “Time to go to bed.” She yawned and stretched. Grabbing her notebook, she walked towards her room. She pushed the door of her room open when she halted and looked back. Sam had stood from where he was sitting but he did not move away from the sofa. His gaze was fixed on her, looking as though he had something important to say, but fighting with himself whether to say it out or not. “What is it?” Zary prompted him. “I want to sleep with you on your bed.” he replied, looking at her straight into her eyes. ___ A special shoutout to @Chinawa for gifting this book its first ever Supergift!
