Turning around and facing away from the very distracting and perfect robot, Zary dialled the number again as she walked towards her veranda. Her expression was as though she was prepared to argue, but time ticked by, and no one was picking up the phone.
After a few more tries, Zary went to the app, only to find that it kept crashing. The app said to uninstall then re-install again. She did as what the app suggested and uninstalled it. But when she looked for app to reinstall it again, she could no longer find it in the list. It was gone!
"My goodness! I think you got scammed, Zary?!" she pressed on her temples wearily and tried to call the customer service officer again. This time, there was a robotic voice recording that said the number she had called was out of coverage.
!!!
A laugh echoed from Zary as she shook her head in disbelief, looking incredulously at the phone in her hands. She rushed towards where she put the manual, avoiding looking at the seductive robot that was standing there.
It was unsettling though because she could feel his gaze on her. She was not used to having 'someone' in her penthouse at all, much less have someone watching her that intensely. The great thing however was, she did not feel the least bit scared, and she did not feel any disgust from his gaze.
"Ugh!" Zary slammed the thick manual onto her hardwood flooring. She could not find any other information. She had also checked the origin of where the package came from and saw there was no contact number or even the name of the sender.
Her head finally whipped towards the robot. He had not moved from his spot at all. She was about to take a step towards him when she halted as her gaze was drawn from his face down to his distracting body again.
And her eyes circled. Wider than ever as she was now seeing a bulge under his fitting black underwear.
Her face turned as red as a ripe tomato as she tore her gaze from that danger zone and yelled at him. "You, p*****t!"
He innocently c****d his head.
"Make that.. that thing go soft or I'll throw you out!" she warned, face all ablaze and ears red at the edges.
He blinked and then looked down. "I'm sorry but I can't control it. My body will automatically act like this if it senses you need comfort." He explained calmly, as though it had nothing to do with him. That caused Zary's mouth to gape open like a fish out of the water, speechless.
Shutting her eyes as tightly as possible, Zary pinched the skin between her brows. "So you're saying that s*x is your definition of comfort?"
"Yes." He was suddenly right before her, looming over her.
Before Zary could retort, he continued. "But if you're not ready for s*x, I can offer you an alternative."
She was speechless again, not expecting a robot to say something like this. "I am made not to expect my human to immediately have s*x with me. It's my job to help you get used to me first. So please do not worry about my erection. I will not do anything unless you permit it." his words became a pot of tempting molten dark chocolate as his voice lowered huskily to a whisper at his last two lines.
And Zary felt something she had felt before, but never this strong – not even close. l**t. She only felt this when she watched erotic movies or read erotic books. But… still, it was never this strong. She could not believe that a robot was capable of eliciting within her, such a strong wave of l**t. And this l**t was… fully directed at him. Oh gods, was she being seduced by a robot? Or was it because he was just so beautiful and goddamned sexy it was just impossible for her not to l**t after him? Ah… whoever created this robot knew exactly what they were doing. They seemed to know exactly what will make a woman get wet just by looking!
The next thing she knew, his arms were already wrapped around her. He had pressed her head close against his chest, cradling it tenderly.
"What are you doing?" she asked, shocked at the sudden skin-to-skin contact.
"This is the alternative I was talking about." He replied. "Hugs do comfort humans, does it not?"
He was warm and so very solid. When was the last time someone hugged her? Zary remembered that two weeks ago, she had hugged Mitch – her best friend – to comfort her. But no one had hugged her like this for a long time now. Because people seemed to think that she was the strong one who did not need anyone's comforting hug.
That thought made her turn emotional. To think that she had forgotten what a comforting hug felt like. Since her grandmother had died, no one had hugged her like this, until now. Until this robot. How ironic.
Somehow, she wanted to cry again. She could not believe a robot was giving her the comforting hug she had no idea she missed and needed so much.
She did not push him away and just closed her eyes, revelling at the solid and comforting feel of him. Him, feeling so strong had given her a peculiar sense of dependability. Her best friend was a little emotionally weak. So she never allowed herself to lean on her. But this robot felt strong and would not crumble even if she leaned her miserable body against him.
At that moment, she felt glad she had gone ahead and impulsively bought this robot after all, but the next second, she finally became aware of something that was a tad warmer and harder which fitted snugly against her.
"You can let go now," she told him a little stiffly. "I'm fine now."
"I don't think so. I believe you still need more… is something bothering you? Is my scent not to your liking? Or is it my temperature?" He looked at her and asked, seriously wanting to find out.
"No." she sighed. "I'm bothered about this hard thing between us."
