I woke up the next morning, a little unsure of myself and all of my surroundings. But then everything came back to me with a crash, and I knew that I had to come up with a plan.
Yesterday had given me absolutely nothing on Jacob Greyson, and I had taken a huge risk by even going into his private rooms like that. And to take such a big risk for nothing at all wasn't something that I could do again and again.
I knew I had to have a better plan before I just did something like that again.
So, today would be just for regrouping. I wouldn't do anything risky or daring. I would just wait it out and bide my time.
With that resolve, I got out of bed and reached for my nightgown. There wasn't any reason for me to get dressed or anything, and I was still supposed to get my schedule for the day,
