"What the f**k was that noise?" Kal yelled from the other room. "Where did it come from?" I heard Drew telling him he thought it had come from outside and was going to check around the back yard. He headed out through the kitchen to carry on the pretence on my behalf.
I was sat against the wall in the nursery unable to take my eyes off of the picture in front of me. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought I was the one that held all the secrets, not Blake. All this time I'd been trying to work out a way to explain myself, to explain what I was and what I did on my territory, and all that time he had something like this hidden away from me. I was completely devastated.
