When I'd turned around and seen Piper in my living room I knew it would be hard to leave. When I listened to her talk to Kal in such a beautiful calm voice I knew it would be almost impossible. She was like sunlight, once you let it in you never wanted to be left in the dark again. In just a few days she seemed to have wedged herself into my life and it didn't look like she was going anywhere anytime soon. I didn't think I wanted her to either.
Right now she was in my apartment looking after my little brother. Prior to this she was at Morgans looking after my business. And now she thought she might be able to help with a plan for Kal. I was starting to think that maybe she could walk on water too.
