Myra's POV “Good Morning, did you have a good night?” My mother greeted me in the morning as I came down from my room to get a glass of water from the kitchen I just got the glass of water gulping it down and went to my bedroom, I needed to find something to do today. Tasha was going with her father to apply at college while I didn’t even bother, my father vowed that since I dropped out of school two years ago, he will never take me to college ever again in his life. I went to my room sitting down on my laptop, maybe I could watch a movie or something. I went on i********: checking the pictures that Tasha had posted and I must say she looked cool, I went to my profile posting pictures from last night I looked at the dress I wore earlier before wine spilled on me. ‘Two dresses one night’ I decided to post both of the pictures, one I was so sober and the other one I took after I left that man alone, I looked so drunk. L smiled at myself as I looked at the picture, I should probably return this dress. I thought to myself as I looked at the picture. I went on to browse through my friend’s profiles and mostly the ones I was with at the university were working and some were graduating with their post-graduate degrees “Looking beautiful, Is that a Louis Vuitton?” I saw the first comment on my post from one of my other friends who were not close to me because I was not a graduate like them, I couldn’t believe it, luckily, I didn’t ruin it with puking in it like I normally do, I checked the dress and it was still in one piece, I grabbed it and went to wash in the washing machine, I needed to keep it nicely in the wardrobe. My phone beeped, I went to check and it was a strange number that had sent me a text “Morning, did you have a good night sleep?” It read and I swallow hard thinking who I could have given my number “I did thanks!” I replied “That’s great! What’s for the rest of the day?” the text read and I kept quiet looking at it wondering who it could be “Nothing plannedHow about we meet?  Maybe you can know who I am?” It read “Sorry but I don’t do blind dates> Perhaps if you gave me your name, I might actually consider meeting you” I sent the text waiting for a reply anxiously looking at the phone “Wouldn’t you want to try it?> I hear many do it! Wouldn’t hurt trying” It read with a winking emoji at the end of his text. I bite my lower lip thinking who It was, I know I met two guys plus last night and also made out with them but I didn’t give them my number that’s for sure. I thought to myself “Nope! I am not that adventurously since you can’t tell me your name then I am sorry I will have to cut that conversation” I replied adding a woman running emoji  after the text, waiting for him to respond from the conversation I was sure it was a man even though he didn’t tell me “Well, am not done talking to you! Can you give me five more minutes of your time?” I the text read and I decide to ignore it. I was going to act like I didn’t see the message; I got the dress I was washing and when I was done, I steam ironed it putting it nicely in my wardrobe, I thought about Calvin and thought about where I can find him. What if? I thought to rush to the phone I needed to call that number and check if it was him. I found six messages from the number asking me to respond, I bit my lower lip thinking the way that man looked there was no way he could be pleading to talk to me no matter what.  I got the phone throwing it on the bed getting frustrated, but what if it was really him?” I thought to myself rolling my eyes I went on my bed, getting the phone and dialing that number. At least I should be clear that it is not him and if I must look for him on f*******: or something it will be better. The phone rang and my heartbeat was beating fast and he was not picking up, I looked at the screen the phone call cutting for some reason I felt relieved that he didn’t pick up until he called back. I took a deep breath picking up the phone, “Hello?” I said through the phone “Hello? Did you decide to call me back? Are you that curious?” He said through the phone, it was that husky deep voice, I closed my eyes trying to remember how that man sounded like/ “Well I just had to considering you were refusing to give me your name,” I said to him and he chuckled through the phone, I knew it was Calvin from his voice and decided to play along “Is that so?  Don’t recognize my voice?” He asked me and I smiled to myself “Well I know who you are, I just wonder how you got my number because I never you Calvin,” I said and he laughed through the phone, I could imagine the way his lips would be curled up his perfect quiet teeth showing as he laughed “Did you recognize me by voice?” He asked and I laughed falling on the bed as I chatted with him “Well, that also plus I also thought who I could refuse to give me their name but was already trying to piss me off,” I said and he chuckled, “Do I piss you off?” He asked in a calm tone “Well, you always do things that are contrary to what I want,” I said through the phone and he kept quiet “So what are you doing today?” I asked him trying to move away from the conversation earlier “Well, I received a text that I have an emergency meeting in Chicago so that’s where I will be flying later today,” He said to me and I pursed my lips together without saying anything “Did you want to meet for a drink?” He said to me “Well, that! Maybe who knows?” I said to him laughing if off “That would have been great but I can’t, how about when I come back?” He said to me, “That sounds great maybe you can finally drink with me” I said to him and he chuckled “Is this about last night? I told you I was driving” He said to me and I laughed, “yeah right! Then I will for an uber that day” I said to him and he laughed, for some reason I was free with him even though we didn’t know each other for a long time “Perfect! That sounds like a plan!” He said to me, “Listen I gotta run, can I text you any time?” He asked me and I was down for it “Oh okay, let me not keep you” I replied “Okay, thanks! Bye, don’t go drinking today” He said to me and Chuckled, “I think you just gave me an idea,” I said cutting the call as I looked at it. Seems like this was going to go well for me I thought to myself as I put the phone away going to check on my laptop.
