Rick and Amanda reached the park in a short while. They both walked beside each other.
“The trees are so pretty,” Amanda comments, staring at the bunch of willow trees.
“There are cherry trees as well. Just, they are not in full bloom yet.” Rick added.
“They only bloom in spring, I know,” Amanda replied.
“And, we have one cherry tree at our house as well. Did you see it before?”.
She stopped in her tracks hearing his reply, looking at him with a surprised face.
“We have a cherry tree at home?”.
“Uh-huh. Grandpa planted this with our previous grandma. She did that when Dad was born. Or, that is what I’ve heard from mom.”
“It blooms two times a year, in the time before autumn and spring. It will start to bloom after 2 or 3 months.”
“Oh.”
