Amanda was quite taken aback to meet Alan right away.
Rick also came out and saw him.
“Uncle.” He called, walking over to his side.
“Did you just come back from the office?”.
Alan nodded, giving a satisfactory smile.
“What about you two? How was your date?”.
Amanda could notice the hint of sarcasm in his tone very well.
“Uh….it was fairly good. Anyway.”
“Let’s go inside.”
“Yeah, you should go in, or else you’ll catch a cold.”
He glanced at Amanda when he said that.
Amanda noticed the jacket given by Rick.
She takes it off right away and puts it back inside the car.
“Let’s go inside, sister,” Rick said to her.
She nodded and goes in fast leaving them.
When she walked in through the main door, she stopped on the track to see Steve standing.
He was wrapped up in outgoing cloth
