"Do you two have something planned later for today?" Duncan's mom asked while gathering the dishes. "I actually have to get going, my shift at the Diner is starting soon." I said standing up and wanted to help Duncan's mother with the dishes but she told me not to worry.
I didn't even see Duncan leave only when he came back with my clothes. "I'll drop you off on my way to the gym." He said. "Duncan, you have already done so much." I started to argue. "Have you ever heard of the words thank you?" He asked. "Thank you." I replied. "Good, now go get dressed."
