Annette sat on her bed and watched as the morning became brighter, she had a lot on her mind and she was starting to feel Louisa wasn’t the solution to her problem. Slipping out of the bed she made her way out of her bedroom and down the stairs, she needed to find another way to solve her problem. Her eyes met with Byron who stood by the kitchen counter with a hot cup of coffee in his hands. “Morning” he greeted taking a sip of his coffee. “Thought you’d already left for work?” Annette asked arriving at the bottom of the stairs. “Was about to leave, the case at the station just keeps piling up” he took another sip of coffee staring curiously at Annette. “You okay?” “I’m great, how’s your kidnap case going? Found any of the girls yet?” she walked over to him taking the cup of coffee
