The main room of the Student Union had been transformed quite a bit since Student Activities Day. The student organization banners were replaced by decorations appropriate for the Faculty & Staff Welcome Back Reception being held that evening.
Of course, the one thread running through both events was that many people were still gossiping about the naked professor who died on his desk in the History Department earlier in the week.
Some people had other things on their mind, however. One of them was Professor Patrick Peterson who looked even better than usual in his sleek tuxedo.
His usual was pretty damn good, too. Patrick had the type of look that made his young female English students wish he would read them poetry by moonlight.
