Professor Peterson stood at the lectern in front of his English 201 class ticking off on his fingers as he spoke. "Let's recap the assignment, people. One – work with a partner. Two – choose an American poet. Three – come up with a twenty minute presentation in the format of your choice. I've randomly generated the partner assignments."
