Chapter 8“The two of you clean up well,” Charles commented as he got into the back of Henry’s car.
He had gone to his apartment from the diner about an hour before to shower and change his clothes because he, Henry, and Jason would be having dinner at one of the most expensive restaurants in downtown Austin. Apparently, something wonderful had occurred, and Henry wished to treat Jason and Charles to dinner. When the three of them met up at Henry’s house, they took turns ordering and paying for takeout. At the moment, Henry and Jason were seated at the front of the vehicle, and they were both dressed up really nicely.
“Thanks, man,” Henry said with a grin. “So do you.”
Jason smiled at Charles. “Thank you. These are my best clothes.”
