Chapter 5“Dads must have been shocked because you’re taking the day off from work. You hadn’t done that for so long.”
Charles grinned at Camden. The two of them were riding in Harrison’s car. Harrison was driving with Tristan next to him. Charles, Camden, and Jason were at the back of the vehicle. Charles was seated in the middle, but he felt comfortable since the back of Harrison’s luxurious car was spacious. Since Harrison, Camden, and Tristan lived together in the same house, they only had to fetch Charles and then Jason before they made their way to Henry’s place.
“They were surprised and relieved,” Charles said. “You should have looked at their faces and heard the things that came out of their mouths. They probably thought I was becoming an anti-social pariah or worse.”
