What is this story about?

This story is about how a girl named Elizabeth uncovers her family secret. In this story, she learns about a secret her family had not told her about. A story about how her family has been slaying the big bad beast and other creatures for years. How her family has been slaying beasts for humans to feel safe. However, Elizabeth never believed their stories nor did she think that ever happened. Until one day she saw someone shift into a big beast behind her school. She sets off to kill the beast to keep the people safe. Until the day she comes face to face to the beast and realizes her family had them all wrong. she tries to protect the beast. Even tries to hide the best but her family soon finds out and now Elizabeth has to pick aside. The side of the beast or her families.

In the end, she picks the beast side because she soon they become lovers. Near the end, Elizabeth discovers there are more different creatures out there.
