Right when Gu Nanyu stopped to look at them, Gu Yaxi happened to spot Gu Nanyu.
Gu Nanyu had hastily departed during the banquet last night. Gu Yaxi had many questions for her, but when she returned, she found out Gu Nanyu had rested.
No one in the Gu family knew Gu Nanyu’s relationship with the Fu family.
Gu Ming’an had previously treated them badly, and now, because of the Fu family, he could not help feeling somewhat regretful.
As such, he repeatedly urged Gu Yaxi to get closer to them from now on.
Early in the morning, Gu Yaxi saw Gu Dongxue and took the latter’s hand affectionately, offering to go to school together.
On their way to the car, Gu Yaxi beat around the bush to ask Gu Dongxue about the Fu family. Gu Dongxue was not st*pid either, thus she would not speak of things she was unsure of.

“Elder brother?” Sweeping a glance at her, Gu Nanyu raised her head to look to the west, then to the east. Finally, her gaze landed on Gu Yaxi. “The sun didn't rise from the west today.”
Gu Nanyu was ridiculing Gu Yaxi for acting abnormally. The latter’s face flushed as she heard her words.
With that, Gu Nanyu had no time to stay back and chat with her.
Watching Gu Nanyu cycle away, Gu Yaxi stomped her feet angrily.
Gu Dongxue walked over as she saw Gu Nanyu off, her gaze full of emotions.
“Yaxi, don't get angry. Perhaps Elder Brother has a misunderstanding toward you,” Gu Dongxue consoled Gu Yaxi.
Gu Yaxi seriously hated the two of them, but she could only endure it for now.
Speaking of Gu Nanyu, she had cycled to the back gate of the school.
This school was considered one for children of wealthy aristocrats. The students had private cars to send them to and pick them up from school.

Later on, when she cycled to and from school, she locked her bicycle near the back gate of the school because she did not want others to belittle her.

After locking her bicycle, Gu Nanyu took her bag and was about to head to school.
