It was almost ten o'clock when Lucas woke up and he did not feel well-rested at all. 'At least I don't feel sore anywhere.'
Lucas got out of bed and went to the bathroom along with a change of clothes. He took off his clothes and went inside the shower. He stood under the running water for half an hour, enjoying the feeling of the warm water easing his tense muscles.
After showering, Lucas changed into comfortable clothes and went downstairs. A delicious aroma wafted through his senses and it made his stomach protest in hunger.
He went inside the kitchen and saw both his mom and Michael busying themselves around the kitchen. They noticed Lucas in the doorway and ushered him inside.
