Colin jumped in the SUV and drove off in the opposite direction of their home. " Colin where are we going?" she asked. he smiled at her lovingly without saying a word. in his head he hoped he could be everything she ever deserved. A man that could love her like she deserved and be a father to be proud of. she had given him the entire world when she gave him her love and the family he never knew he wanted and needed. he would protect this with his life if he needed to. this was his entire world. after a short drive the SUV pulled to a slow stop before a massive gate made of gold. Colin reached out and pushed in a code and the gate lurched open. slowly they drove through to a long drive way. making their way to a beautiful castle in the distance. Emma looked confused at first but then the confusion turned to shock. " Colin is this ours?" He smiled at her bringing her fingers to his lips kissing her gently. "this is our home now. I hope to have a lot of memories made here and peace for once. welcome home Emma." she smiled in complete shock as he pulled the SUV to a stop. right on cue the babies let out a whimper in the back seat. her heart was so filled with love and joy she let out a giggle. Everything was perfect. She was happy and content and her life had changed so much. She couldn't ever imagine going back to who she used to be before Colin. They were a family. A family she never thought she would have and she knew it was the same for Colin. Together they were stronger. " let's get these two inside. I have a feeling we are in for some long nights." Emma slowly climbed out and grabbed Emmalyth and Colin grabbing Cameron. staff lined the steps bowing their heads at them as they walked by. " Colin? what is all this?" she questioned. Everything was overwhelming her and her heart was over joyed. " we are king and queen. these people are here to help us with our needs. everyone in the kingdom has a job and gets well paid. some work here and some chose to work outside the kingdom but things have been going well. " he smiled at Emma. " let's get them inside and you need food and rest." they walked through a long hall to an elevator. he typed in a code and the doors slid open for them to enter. " we have our own private family corridor. this is where we live and sleep. cut off from the hustle and bustle of royal life so we can have some privacy. a few select staff are allowed and have the security pass to get in. " he smiled at Emma again as the elevator opened its doors. there before them was a large living room and kitchen. Emma walked in darting her eyes around the two rooms. there were stairs that led to doors and she assumed they were the bedrooms. downstairs off the living room was a door open to a library. a fire roared in the stone fireplace warming the large space. it was cozy and felt like home. " it feels like home." She knew she would spend countless hours there reading by that very fireplace. Looking around again she couldn't help but let a few tears of joy slip from her eyes. "I could never imagine my life any other way now. I feel like we are home and this is where we belong." Colin stood beside her holding her close to him. Leaning over he kissed her forehead gently. "I never want to remember my life without you Emma. This," he waved hi hand around and then pointed between the two of them. "All of this is what I want. There will never be anything better than us. It feels so right and so perfect. You and our babies. It is all I could ever want. I love you my Queen." He sighed at the thought of all the memories they would have here together. He knew for the rest of his life as long as they were together there would never be anything more important. It was then that Emmalyth cried out in hunger breaking them from their trance. Emma laughed at her precious daughter. "I feel like we are going to be hearing from this one a lot. She seems to dominate the attention." Colin chuckled as he watched her move towards a seat to feed their little girl. "this is our home. you and our kids gave me a sense of home. you are my world and I intend on making sure you all feel it every day I breath. I love you Emma." Colin kneeled down handing Emma their precious princess to feed. " I love you more." Emma knew she had everything right there in this family. this was everything she ever needed. this was what life was about, the love of a family. her family. " thank you Colin " "what for?" Colin asked confused. " for bringing us home." she wrapped her free arm around his waist and lay her head on his shoulder. she was home. They were home together. Colin smiled at her. "I have one more surprise for you my Queen." Emma looked at him quizzically. He had already given her everything she could have ever wanted. "What surprise? You have already given me everything." He stood up and went to the door of their suite. "Well, I figured you wouldn't want to do this without your parents. So I made sure they had their own suite here so that our kids can have their grandparents close at all times. My parents are here too. I figured family was what we needed. I hope that is ok with you?" Emma watched as both their parents walked into the living room where she sat feeding her baby girl. They immediately walked over fussing over Cameron their little Prince showering him in love. Her smile said it all. She was ecstatic at the thought of having both their parents close to them. This was all she wanted. Her family with her. The love they could have for their babies and knowing they would be together. It was home. They were home. **** THE END**** follow Lallyfamily518 for more free books
