Chapter 28   When I wake up, Torrance is sitting on the bed next to me. He doesn't look like he's slept at all; in days even. He looks down at me and smiles. "Good morning." My feelings are so conflicted, I can't even respond. I've missed him so much and I'm so glad he's here with me right now, but he lied to me for weeks and watched me go through hell thinking my brother was dead. He must pick up on my mood because he throws his head back and sighs. "I'll never be able to apologize enough for what I've put you through, Mia. But there's something I need to tell you; something I've been trying to tell you for a while now." I sit up and watch him expectantly, waiting for him to continue. I already know what he's going to say, but I need him to say it. I need him to be honest with me. "
