It's all a nightmare.
Elle lies on the hospital bed and is sedated so she can recover faster. The doctors decided to put her in an induced coma to speed up her recovery. It seems that after the forced attempt of Brandon to mark her, Athena, her wolf is in a state of shock and does not help her at all to recover.
Attempt, yes you heard right. Initially, when I saw Elle's neck full of blood, I thought that Brandon had managed to mark her or, worse, seriously injured her when Alfa King actually snatched him from Elle.
