Chapter 13On Monday morning, Principal Shotty handed over a piece of paper proving I was now a high school graduate. It only took me thirteen years to get through the educational system, but I got it done. To tell the truth, I was proud of myself. After I left the school campus, I scooted on down to the bank and withdrew another hundred. Now I could give the old man his money and still have a bit of cash on me for emergencies. When I got home, nobody seemed impressed by any of my accomplishments except for coming up with some money. We left for Arizona that same afternoon.
