Kitchen Talk Twenty-Eight: Ruby I slowly make my way into the kitchen as my Aunt Sally is sitting at the table sipping her own coffee. I sit my cup down and take a seat. “Are you going to tell me why your eyes were glowing purple?” I say as I stare at my coffee cup. “My glowing eyes are the least of your worries right now.” I snap my eyes up to my Aunt as she stares at me with a scowl on her face. “What you just did is irresponsible and could hurt you more than you know.” I shrug my shoulders as I look away from her. “How is what I do any of your business?” I hear her chuckling in a way that sends shivers up and down my spine. “You, young lady, are so spoiled that you have never looked to see what is going on around you.
