Bruce, a man with a complicated past, was now confined to a chair by silver handcuffs. His legs were bound by ropes laced with wolfsbane, a painful reminder of his choices. He had been sitting in a prison cell, pondering over the consequences of his actions. Did I make the right choice in helping Lynx escape? He had plenty of time to think about it. Lynx, his son, was the reason he had risked everything to break him out of the Elder’s custody. But a tiny sliver of his conscience felt that he had betrayed Aries yet again.
