“Dorian, you didn’t have to do all of this,” Lacie said.
“You’re a valued pack member, Lacie; of course I did.” Lacie smiled. Not too long after she was stabilized at the Nantahala Forest Pack hospital, Dr. Quinn and the Desert Moon’s helicopter landed, and she was medivacked back to Desert Moon. Everyone went with her, and Dorian ordered Grayson to fly the pack’s private jet back to the Las Vegas private strip.
By the time they landed back at Desert Moon and transferred Lacie to a private room, she had regained consciousness. Three days have passed since the incident, and Lacie is fully conscious and awake.
“How are you feeling, Precious?” Aries asked.
“I’m feeling pretty good. I’m not sore anymore, and Samara is prancing around in my head as
