I did everything I could to calm Ares down as we looked at the photos again of Emily arriving and entering the castle. The photos were the ones found with a rogue caught at our western border.
We are currently going through the security footage from that day to see if we could work out who took them. It seemed that the spy knew our security system very well as they were hidden behind a statue and a bush when they took off after.
The rogue kept saying he was asked to pick up a backpack from a tree 45 feet off the main road near the border. He didn’t know what was in it but he had to get the backpack and deliver it to a warehouse in a city 50km’s away for a $50,000 reward.
Even after hours of torture that would make him confess to even the secrets he had as a five year old,
