I could not believe what I was seeing. My mum looked distraught, crying bucket loads of tears, and holding the newspaper article up in her hands facing the camera. She was going on about how I was a rebellious daughter who got hooked on drugs and prostitution and because they wanted to send me for help to a rehab facility, I kidnapped my younger brother and ran away from home. She went on to say that they have been searching for us all over and didn’t go to the police cos at the end of the day I was her daughter and she didn’t want me to go to prison. She then pleaded with me to come home. She said that she loves and misses Jacob and I so much and just wanted to get me help to get better. I can not believe the nerve of that woman! She didn’t mention how long ago we left home and continued playing the role of the victim and distraught mother who loved her children more than her own life. She cried and repeatedly said how much she misses us and thanked Mr Knight for caring for her babies and to please bring them home.

WHAT HOGWASH!!! Got to give her credit. She was a very good actress! She even dressed the part of a “Good Mother” and was not wearing the bare minimum I remembered her always wearing. When she was done with her award winning performance, she just stared directly into the camera for a few seconds. That silent message was for me, I knew it! Even though no one else may have noticed it, I did, that smirk on her face and evil look in her eyes clearly told me she wanted me to know she’s going to make me pay for running away! I have to do something! Jacob and I can not live in fear throughout our lives. We can not keep running from them. After her distraught mother role played to perfection, and me without any proof of what they did to us previously, things were not looking favorable for us.

I would need to get proof of the type of people both mum and Mason were and get it to the authorities just out of my hometown who were trying for years to take down Mason. The cops in our hometown were on Mason’s payroll and turned a blind eye and deaf ear to his actions. If I wanted to end this once and for all, I would have to go back! Ari got her phone out and called Gabriel. Within a few minutes, he came to us. He looked at me affectionately and hesitantly made his way towards me and gave me a peck on my forehead. I couldn’t stay mad at him, and besides, in all fairness, he didn’t really do anything wrong. I gave him a slight smile motioned for him to take a look at Pearl’s phone. She replayed the video, and he shouted out after seeing it!

“DAMN THAT WOMAN! SHE NEEDS TO BE PUT IN HER PLACE!” I tell them that I kind of have a plan which they all may not like but ask them to please trust me. “Okay, let’s hear it” said Gabriel. I tell them that in order for it to work I will have to go back! The three of them looked at me wide-eyed and clearly surprised at what I said. “THERE’S NO WAY IN HELL I AM GOING TO LET YOU GO BACK THERE!” Shouted Gabriel. "Please just hear me out. I have to end this once and for all. Jacob and I can not live the rest of our lives in fear." Why could they not understand that was the only way I could get the evidence to help put mum and Mason away for a long time.

"I think I may have an idea how we could do this and get all the evidence needed, and you will not have to do it on your own," Pearl said, looking deep in thought. I started to refuse their involvement in this, this wasn't their battle to fight, and I couldn't risk any of them getting hurt because of Jacob and I. "Bella, both you and Jacob are our family now, gone are the days were you had to deal with things on your own and we are going to do this together whether you like it or not! Pearl, let's hear your plan." said Arianna, and before I could say anything, Pearl told me to zip it and started telling us her plan. Gabriel gave me glares of disappointment. He was NOT happy with me for considering doing this on my own! Pearl’s plan actually sounded good and could work, and from the looks on both Gabriel’s and Arianna's faces, they liked it."Okay, if yourll sure this is going to work, then let's do it! We got to fill Jacob and Alex in on it and start preparing, " I tell them.

“Babe, please, promise me that no matter how intense things may get or how violent Mason behaves with me you will not show any emotion or react” I tell Gabriel and he looked at me all excited, grinning from ear to ear and asked “Did you just call me Babe?” I just winked at him and smiled. “Okayyyy then, I'm going to find Jacob. Pearl and I will fill him in, and then we are going to go practice our parts. I will also phone Alex and inform him about everything as well. Gabe. You two need to talk out a few things or not. Mwahz, see yourll when we see yourll” said Arianna in a mischievous tone. “Soooooo Babe, huh?” Gabriel asks me as he pulled me into his chest and then cupped my face, staring into my eyes like I was the most precious thing in this world. “Babe, do you prefer something else?” I asked in a flirtatious tone, even surprising myself.

“I love it! Especially the way you say it.” He told me. "How about we try taking a shower together and then decide if we want to talk things out or not” I suggest,again in a flirtatious tone. Hopefully, Pearl’s plan works, but if not, at this moment, I want Gabriel to know and feel that I belong to him and only him. "Are you sure?” He asked me, sounding surprised but excited. I walked over to my bedroom door and locked it, and as I walked towards the bathroom, I started taking off my clothes and called out “Are you going to join?”
