It's Show Time!

CHAPTER 20

Bella

Being all spontaneous and taking a leap of faith and giving myself completely to Gabriel was the best move ever! He worshipped my body like no one had ever done before and treated me like I was the most important person in his world. I have fallen madly in love with him over a short space of time. I feel safe when he’s around, but most importantly, I feel love, joy, and happiness like I have never felt before. After spending the night with him, I don’t doubt his love for me even if we are from totally different worlds. He is mine, and I am his now.

I pray to the angels that all goes well tomorrow in that dreadful Hell Town. We are going to leave early hours of the morning to reach there by midday. Arianna was over the moon and kept teasing both Gabriel and I that we were glowing. She also managed to convince me that once we sorted out the issues with Mum and Mason, we would all go back to the city to meet her parents. I am totally committed to Gabriel and not planning on calling it quits unless he decides to. So the only right thing to do is meet his parents.

We all met and did a run-through of the plans and also checked that all the equipment and devices which we were going to be using were in excellent working condition. Alex and two other of their men joined us during the run-through. The three of them were tall, big sized men with bulging and tattooed muscles. Gabriel was also tall and muscular, but he had a sexy, well toned body. He also has tattoos but not as many as these men. These look scary but dangerously hot! If that even makes sense! Before we knew it, it was crunch time. We were driving in convoy. Gabriel, Alex, Arianna, Pearl, Jacob, and myself were in the first vehicle, and Gabriel’s men followed in two more. The closer we got, the more nervous I became. We made a stop to freshen up and get some snacks and beverages, and Gabriel took the opportunity to remind me of how much he loves me and how proud he is of me. That helped boost my confidence.

I couldn’t help but notice the flirting going on between Alex and Arianna. My bestie has some explaining to do later. Jacob was very quiet throughout. He looked scared, and I kept hugging him and telling him that everything was going to be okay. I was hesitant at first to allow him to be a part of this but then decided to let him because just like me he too needed to see mum and Mason pay for what they did to us and give us a bit of closure I guess.

A cold shiver ran down my spine as we drove into “HELL TOWN” . I never thought I would ever return to this place unless I was dragged back by force, yet here I am, coming back at my will ! Every one were shocked at the terrible condition of the town. I directed them to Mason’s compound, which, in comparison to the others, looked a bit better. Before getting close up to the compound, we checked again that all the required documents in the briefcase were in order, and all the equipment and devices were still working well. Pearl insisted that we also got dressed up for this mission, as she called it. It was her plan, after all, so we humored her and went along with what she chose for us to wear. We three gals looked the part of classy, sexy looking escorts. The men were as per the norm in smart, designer business suits, and Jacob was dressed in smart casual.

As we got to Mason’s compound, there were scruffy and rugged looking men scattered around as though protecting the dump. “State your business” one said. “We have something your boss wants, and he has something my boss wants! Tell him Mr Knight is here!” spoke up Alex in an assertive yet calm tone. He didn’t say anything to Alex, just turned and went into the entrance of a building. He came rushing back with a furious looking Mason , “HOW DARE YOU MAKE MR KNIGHT WAIT OUT HERE! DID YOU NOT RECOGNIZE HIM YOU FOOL !? I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THIS!” barked Mason to his man and then sounding sincerely apologetic said to Gabriel, “I am so sorry sir, it’s an honour to have you here, please, please do come through” Mason was kissing ass while Gabriel maintained an emotionless look on his face and remained silent “GET MOVING AND TAKE CARE OF THE BOSS!” Alex shouted at us, and we pretended to be scared and moved with speed. Pearl and I linked arms on either side of Gabriel’s and Arianna linked arms with Alex, and Jacob followed behind with his head bowed down, two hands joined, and resting in front below his belt. Mason stared at us dumbfounded at our entrance until Alex shouted at him, “MY BOSS IS NOT HERE TO ENTERTAIN, HE IS HERE ON BUSINESS AND HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO WASTE!” Mason clearly spooked, but trying his best to put on a Brave face led everyone to what he called his meeting hall.

There were many prostitutes hanging around, speaking and laughing loudly. They whistled and revealed their not so hidden ‘assets’ to the men as we passed them. They were clearly high on drugs. Mason pointed towards them and said that they were some of his finest and that should the men care for some entertainment later, he would arrange it. “DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I SAID MY BOSS IS HERE ON BUSINESS?” Growled Alex. Mason nodded his head in understanding and pointed out to some chairs and asked us to take our seats. Arianna and I quickly wiped clean the seats for Gabriel and Alex before they could sit on it and once they did, I sat on Gabriel's lap, Pearl and Arianna stood on either side of him with one hand resting on each of his shoulders. Jacob stood beside Alex, head bowed down and hands in the same position as when he walked in.“SEND FOR YOUR WOMAN!” Alex ordered Mason.
