Chapter Seven
The last thing I feel like doing is meeting Spencer for a coffee. But after the events at the hospital and knowing she is working at Dad’s company, how could I not? Mom clearly is sticking her head in the sand. Brian is ready to take over the company... I can just tell by the way he speaks and looks at me.
How could Dad’s company be going under? Maybe it is silly of me to always assume the business would be fine. Restaurants are a hard business. Even restaurant chains are no longer safe.
