As we travelled through Verona, I couldn’t believe how similar it felt. There were so many alike aspects, even the road signs were comparable. Although we were on the wrong side of the road, which was beyond trippy. The crucial difference I found was that a lot of the buildings seemed to be really close to the road, compared to England. They were in a completely distinct style too and often painted different colours. As we got closer to the outskirts of the city, I noticed the mountains come into view, although how Luca described them as hills was beyond me. They were huge and seemed almost completely green. The idea of being that far up in a car was a little nerve-wracking. I was hoping we wouldn’t be going that far up. As we ascended, we barely seemed to be going anywhere. Then we came
