Oh my! As the goddess fades there is a little unease in my heart. The excitement of this moment makes it easy to forget why we have been truly given these gifts and I can’t help feeling we are barrelling toward it.
Looking to Cormac I see the same unease in his eyes. We have had so little time together all I can hope is that we will have a lifetime after this.
I give myself a little shake and reconnect with this moment. Relishing how strong I feel in my wolf, how much I loved the twinkle in his eyes when he looked at me like this for the first time. There is an energy running through me feeling like I want to run, to test out my new body.
