I’m startled by the dink of the elevator as an older gentleman walks out with a service trolley. I had been lost in Kier and his stories, just the two of us in our own little world.
“Una this is Bruce, he takes care of us, I’m sure you’ll love him, he will get you anything you need” I smile at him “Hello Bruce” he gives me a kindly nod “Wonderful to have you home ma’am”
This will take some getting used to people knowing me and I have no recollection of them. He proceeds to the table and sets out our meal as Kier wraps me in a giant fluffy towel rubbing me dry. It feels nice, the care he is taking over me but that is how I remember him, always looking out for me and making sure I was okay above his own needs.
As we settle at the table Bruce bids us “Bon Appetite” and then leaves
