My racing heart stills as I watch the crone. My duty to protect her kicked in as soon as the Vampires appeared, I transformed and started to make my way to protect her.
There were just so many so fast that I couldn’t get there quick enough. I ripped off a few heads trying to push my way forwards knowing the old lady wouldn’t stand a chance against them. I was so worried for her life, that it would be on my watch we lost the very person responsible for saving us all. What an absolute fool I was.
Simultaneously all of the Vampires had lifted in the air captured in a purple swirl of air, it looked like they were tied tight with rope, completely immobilised.
