After Aidan executed my father for treason, I took over his pack, and we were being looked at differently from the people in the Kingdom. We were outcasts for trying to take over which resulted in the death of the King and his subjects, Aidan had returned and showed no mercy for those he deemed as traitors. I started to rebuild my pack, we had lots of territories and I was going to bring it back to its former glory. Roman came over a few months later to check on us as we were on probation but this time it was a different kind of visit. He saw how quickly we were back on our feet and he called me into a private meeting and said, "I am going to kill Aidan and I want you to help me." I thought he was testing me until I realized he was serious, he asked, "Don't you want revenge for your father?"

I thought about it and in reality, I did, but knew, he was wrong too, I had no part in his treasonous schemes but Roman was expected to be King and the Kingdom would be better for it. I asked him, "What will you offer me in return for my help as you need my men to join you in the coup?" He started to offer me riches, gold, and more land, it sounded promising but I was already a wealthy Alpha and had those things. Roman thought about it and explained his whole plan, it would take time to come about as he needed to figure out most details and get around Ty and Drax as they were killing machines and loyal to Aidan. He needed to find a way to get them on board, he turned to me and said, "I will offer you my firstborn daughter and all the perks of being the Crown Prince when it is time," I like the sound of that as it would be beneficial for my pack.

We signed the contract, his firstborn daughter would be my betrothed and she would give me my heirs to take over when the time was right. We were sworn to secrecy and he left to get more men to help overthrow Aidan, we were kept in the loop about the progress made and would secretly meet to share notes as things started to fall in place. As time went on, an emergency meeting was called after King Aidan found his mate, Roman was furious and this time, I saw all the players in the game, including the Elders and that crazy b***h, Alpha Nero. I had second thoughts about betraying Aidan, despite what my father did, I grew up with the guy and he wasn't a bad King. I couldn't back out now because Roman would have me killed if I did, so I was in this. Roman being the former Rogue King's son would explain his split personality, I believe deep down Roman was more deadlier than anyone in this room. As time went on, it was the night of the coup, my men had infiltrated the Castle and rounded up all the guards outside and around the town's people.

His army is huge and they fight to the death, they leave no one alive in their path, which is why Aidan had them sign to be part of the Royal Pack. Ryker was loyal to the end and there was a rumor that he was Drax's mate or they had a secret love affair until Drax found his mate, Lady Lora and the rumors died down. When I saw Ryker's men with our arm bands, I was shocked that Roman got him to flip on Aidan. It was a bloody night, I watched as Roman had them killed, Drax looked at me with cold dead eyes before focusing on Ryker as he teared up, "Maybe, the rumors were true, after all," I thought. I saw when Roman marked Lily and I knew the deed was done and we were under new leadership. I felt bad that we had to kill Drax and Ty because their intelligence and shared strength would have made Roman a stronger King.

Life got better under Roman, he lived up to his word, I saw that Sophie was born, she was older than her twin by five minutes so I knew she was my betrothed. We decided to meet with contracts at a later date and he left, his aura was strong but it also felt like he was holding back, I knew hybrids are technically stronger that's why Roman hated intermixing but this, this was something else.

I was marking off all our enemies as we built ourselves up, Cayden, and the others, helped gather our enemy names who took part in the coup years ago. I was heading over to Bearmore to meet with Barron, he wasn't an enemy but he was a damn good ally to have and we were building our forces for when the time was right. I hated that Alpha Seth was mated to Lily's daughter but she was Roman's daughter and we would spare no one in his bloodline when it came to him, even if we had to kill Lily also. Revenge will be sweet and swift as we set things in motion for Roman's demise and all those who double-crossed us. I felt for Lily but she married the enemy and I wondered if she was in on our deaths, because if she is, Aidan would kill her in the worst way possible for her betrayal.
