Chapter 11: Aggression

Polly was in a meeting with a few of my advisors about building the new school in the future for the many bears that are moving back into Bearmore because we are expanding. We needed approval for the additional land that goes into Alpha Andrew's land since it was bordering ours and we needed his permission to settle but he assured us that we would need approval from Roman or his son Prince Kyan. I decided that I would meet Prince Kyan instead because of our history and take Clarke with me, Clarke was going through a lot, he doesn't speak much anymore and I was waiting for him by my truck to head out. Clarke came out with quite a few love bites on his neck and smiled, I never really got into my brother's personal life but on this road trip, we could catch up. Clarke looked at me when I grabbed his hand in a friendly manner and said, "Let's go," he roared at the back of his throat and I let him go, something wasn't right with Clark and this was the perfect time to talk about it.

We headed down the road with two guards on our trail in their truck and I asked, "What's up with you, Clarke?" He asked, "What do you mean?" Sounding like himself again, I said, "You seem different," he said, "Not really," we both smiled. I asked, "Are you going to mark Kayla since you two are hot and heavy?" He said, "I just might but honestly, she found her mate a few days ago and I let her go," I was shocked, and I asked, "When did that happen? Clarke looked at me surprised that I didn't know, and said, "When she went on her trip to visit a friend in Pixland, he was a guard for the Palace in Faeora so she is back home. I said, "Wow," in disbelief because I knew that she was afraid to go home and I guess finding your person will change you. I said, "So the bites on your neck," he smiled and said, "Just some chic that I picked up a the bar last night, she will be gone by the time we get back," I said, "Be careful, no unwanted pregnancies."

He said, "Don't worry, I won't be knocking up anyone anytime soon, plus, I don't think I care for a mate anyway, or anyone for that matter," I was shocked. Clarke was the one person who wanted his mate and I wondered what changed his mind, but changed the subject sensing that he didn't want to talk about mates. The trip was long as Kyan was living in the heart of his territory, we stopped at a motel to rest for the night at Clark's request since Kyan was expecting us tomorrow anyway. We got separate rooms and Clarke decided to go to the bar across the street, I hoped he wouldn't get into trouble as he started drinking heavily lately. I was restless and couldn't sleep so I decided to go across the street and found Clarke with a girl in his lap making out, I shook my head and got two beers walking over there.

I could smell the alcohol on him and his eyes were a different color than his bear, Zion, I said, "Who are you?" Linking them, his eyes flicked back to his color and he looked at me like it never happened, I knew for a fact something was wrong with my brother. The night wined down and I tried to get Clarke to leave, he yelled at me, "Leave!" His eyes were black again and I said, "No, you will not stay here like this," he said, "f**k off, Barron, go and f**k your chosen," I was shocked because I had no idea why he would bring up Lark. He smiled saying, "You love stealing mates don't you, that's why yours was stolen," that angered me so I pushed him and we both changed into our bears and started fighting. The bar patrons cheered and the city cops were called but we were so busy chewing out each other that we didn't realize we were tazed until we both fell on the ground in pain changing back to our human form. We both ended up with a warning and Clark held the girl's hand from earlier and walked over to his room, I saw Kyan's Beta, Fallon, walk up to me giving me pants.

He said, "You have been here a few hours and you got into a fight, don't be late for the meeting tomorrow," as we hugged each other, we went way back. I joined Fallon for a coffee, he owned the bar and was in the vicinity when he got a link from the bartender about royal bears fighting and everyone knew not to get between bears and their prey. Fallon was loyal to Kyan and he believed in the vision Kyan had for the throne when his father stepped down but I knew Roman, he was power-hungry and would never give it up. Kyan would have to challenge him and win the old-fashioned way, I believe he could beat his father but knowing Roman, he would cheat. I didn't want to ask in case he didn't know but he and Kyan are best friends and I made a promise, Fallon smiled and said, "Sophie is good, she is trying her best to move on and so far, Seth is doing everything right," I smiled saying, "Thank you," before I head over to the motel to take a nap for the long day ahead tomorrow.

Clarke

I wasted no time burying my c**k deep inside this beautiful woman, she looked familiar but I was too drunk to care, I just wanted to forget I ever had a mate. I hated Lark, I hated her, and I was pounding into the woman beneath me, she moaned and got louder, and I knew those next door could hear us and I didn't care. I wanted to reach my release but my vision of Lark being f****d by my brother haunted me, it fueled my rage, and the woman yelled, "Give it to me." She was taking my c**k good, I was surprised and she hugged me, close soothing the bear within me, she clawed my back, and I moved my waist in a circular motion between her legs as she felt great. I rolled off of her and lay down on the bed wondering what just happened as I tried to catch my breath. I woke up the next morning to a knock on the door, the woman was gone, I checked my wallet just in case but my money and cards were still there. I felt strange but relieved, I wasn't angry and I looked at my brother as I opened the door, he smiled holding up coffee and donuts saying, "Truce." He knew they were my weakness and I smiled letting him in, after I ate, I took a quick shower and then, we were on our way to Kyan's mansion.

The ride wasn't that long and we were there in no time, I could smell the wolves he had surrounding the place, and we were greeted by his Beta, Fallon. Fallon led us to Kyan's office where he was waiting on us, we did our greetings and I saw my brother look at a picture of Sophie and her sister on his mantle. I knew he was still hurt about everything that happened, and it deeply pained him that Sapphire would grow up without her mother. Kyan walked over and said, "She has settled a bit, she still hates the situation but she is not letting it get to her and as you know, Seth is behaving." I felt a headache coming on again and Lark appeared in my head and I excused myself to the bathroom. I felt so much anger thinking about her and then I was normal again before heading back to the meeting.

Darcy/Barbie

I met up with Clarke at the bar in disguise, I needed more of his blood to complete what I wanted, and I found out he was heading to Blood Moon Royal Pack. I placed a spell on him that will lead him to me here at the bar where I can complete my mission, I need him to break his family bond but something is pushing back. I got him to drink my potion and he snapped at his brother, I hope he finally gets away from them so I can have him for myself. The night we spent together, I almost got him to mark me but something was stopping him which meant he had a mate close by, from my sources, he hadn't met her yet and I wondered why. I needed to put a stop to it before he claimed her, so I headed out to Bearmore where I could be close to him and get him to fall in love with me, I just hope the love potions work. Prince Clarence here I come, I will have you and no one will stop me, maybe, just maybe, I can get you on your brother's throne.
