CHAPTER 36 NAOMIThe path I took was the same one all of the wolves took around here. Through the woods, around the whole pack, passing The Beast Tavern. Not once. Not twice. About twenty-two times. Snow was falling into my face, beating down harder and harder each moment. I could barely see two feet in front of me, but that was probably because of the tears. Snow soaked through my shoes and rolled down my bare arms and abdomen. Making me feel comfortably cold because all I’d felt when I left the pack house was pure heat from anger. When I pushed myself to the absolute limit and didn’t have any more tears to cry, I grabbed my shirt off of the front porch and walked to The Beast Tavern. I didn’t know what time it was, but I didn’t want to go back inside and face them. I didn’t know what
