Joaquin took Shanaia back to the mansion, and when they arrived, Basilio, Marisol, and Marina came rushing towards them.
“Thank Bathala you are okay!” Marisol exclaimed as she pulled Shanaia in a hug.
Shanaia was surprised by the Dalakitnon’s gesture. She pulled away and looked at them before stepping back. They noticed that she was not being comfortable so they kept their distance.
“Prepare her a bath –“
“I can take a bath on my own,” Shanaia said, cutting off Joaquin’s sentence.
“Uhm, are you hungry? We can prepare food,” Marina asked and Shanaia looked at her.
“If the food doesn’t have any color on it but black then no thanks,” Shanaia replied.
“I asked the servants to gather food from the human realm. I will have them prepared for you,” Marina told her and Shanaia let out a sigh
