Shanaia looked at Joaquin and then she made her way towards her.
“What did you say? What do you mean by that?” she asked.
Basilio turned to her.
“Miss,” he started and Shanaia looked at him.
“You see, the time here is very different from outside this real. Let us just say a day here is equivalent to a year in your realm,”
Basilio dropped the bomb and Shanaia’s jaw dropped.
“W-What?”
“That is true. Since you have been here for a couple of days, it must have been a few years have passed since you disappeared from the human realm,” Joaquin said and Shanaia felt her knees give out as she sat on the floor.
