"Ben! Are you OK? Can you hear me? Ben?" Colleen called out as she banged on the confessional doors and pulled on the handles. The first three opened effortlessly and their interiors proved empty except for the inside steel bars. In response to her inquiries as she pulled at the door handle, Colleen heard muffled sounds coming from behind the fourth ornate door. The handle wouldn't budge. Colleen looked at the electronic badge sensor. She shrugged. "Might as well try it," Colleen mumbled. She swiped her badge. ACCESS DENIED flashed on the screen.
