For the past two weeks, we have been chasing a ghost, running after Kimberly and those remaining in her pack, but so far, we have only been walking into dead ends and traps. I feel like I am failing her, failing another person I was meant to protect, and because of that, I haven't been able to face Caylee.
I have been coming home late, spending every waking moment trying to find Kimberly, take her out of the picture and find some form of normal again. Luckily, Katy has been keeping me updated on Caylee, on her progress, how she is coping with what she has survived.
