Things did not get any worse, but they didn't get better either. The bullying kept on. It was the same thing every day, a bit of incidental violence, a few paper missiles, a bit of ignoring. She had left her blazer in the locker room and when she went back for it, it was gone. Violet looked online for a new one, but the cheap eBay ones she had found before were not available, and everything else was so far out of her price range, she would have to be BFF with Chase before she could afford one.
