Rachel's POV
I must admit, I was taken aback by how quickly Zion was able to decode all the riddles that our teacher presented us with. Many of the riddles were challenging, even posing a significant hurdle for me, and I’m considerably older than he is. It appears that in this particular world, Zion possesses an intelligence far beyond what I anticipated. It’s astonishing to compare him to the Zion I know; this version of him even established the Silver Gate Company here before I ever saw that happen on Earth.
Over the past few days, Zion has taken up a surprising amount of mental real estate in my thoughts, almost as if he had invaded uninvited. Oddly enough, just as I was contemplating him, I happened to spot Zion standing at the main gate of our school, seemingly waiting for someone.
