"Well, it's because I love you." I smiled at her, went to her, gently her hair and kissed her on the forehead again. She smiled sheepishly and got up, did the same thing to me and shouted back at me. "I LOVE YOU,'
I laughed at her innocence. "You didn't have to say it out loud, Laura." I went down and saw a maid coming towards me with a bowl of grapes. She set it down before us and gave us a little bow before us.
"Thank you, ma'am.' Laura greeted.
The maid smiled. "You are welcome, my dear." I faced her and also said, "Thank you, Maria." I gratefully said to her.
"The pleasure is all mine, sir." She smiled and walked away from us. I looked at the grape and took some of it, eating some of it from its red bowl.
